A quick note on the rebuild — what's here, and what I expect to write about going forward.
Welcome to the new version of williampeytz.com. I rebuilt the site from scratch as a single place to keep my projects, writing, and CV — partly because I wanted somewhere clean to point people toward, and partly because I needed a venue for writing as I work through the rest of my MSc.
The short tour
- Projects — case studies of what I’m building now (Stemma is the current one) and a selection of earlier work from coursework and side projects.
- CV — full resume, both web and PDF.
- About — who I am and what I’m currently focused on.
- Writing — this section. I’ll use it for notes and longer-form pieces as they come up.
What I expect to write about
Mostly the things I’d want to read myself: voice agents and the engineering around them, what it actually looks like to build a startup while doing a Master’s, lessons from shipping ML to people who don’t care about the model, and the parts of my coursework that turn out to be worth more than a hand-in.
Stack
For the curious — the site is Astro with Tailwind CSS, content collections for posts and projects, and a dark-first aesthetic borrowed in spirit from Vercel and Linear. It deploys statically to Vercel on every push.
